Requirements for a good topographic survey
To ensure optimum model accuracy:
The grass must be cut flush with the ground before lifting.
Dense wooded areas cannot be scanned (lack of visibility for the scanner).
Isolated trees are represented as volumes as observed on the day of the scan.
Undergrowth and opaque areas are not included in the survey.
Property boundaries and georeferencing
We propose two options for integrating property boundaries:
Superimposing the point cloud on the cadastral map quick method but non contractualthen the limits are indicative.
Precise geo-referencing based on coordinate points supplied by a surveyor A more reliable solution, suitable for projects requiring a legal basis or exact anchoring to the LV95 system.
⚠️ Please note: unless specifically requested, our surveys are not georeferenced or altimetric. The reference level can be defined arbitrarily, for example at the bottom of the plot (level ±0.00).
A complete deliverable for your projects
Our standard deliverables include :
Topographical plans with contour lines every 1 metre
Orthophoto of the site superimposed on the topography
Point cloud (.e57) ready for CAD software
3D virtual tour (via ATIS-CLOUD link)
Simplified modelling of existing buildings (LOG 200/LOG 300 as required)
Site context modelling of visible elements around the plot (adjacent buildings, roads, walls, infrastructure)
For which projects?
Our readings are particularly suitable for :
Projects for new build orextension
Landscape and architectural integration studies
Projectstown planningdevelopment of areas or PPE
Coordination meetings between architects, landscape architects, engineers or authorities
A solid basis for your preliminary projects
We favour useful topography from the sketch phase onwards, rather than a pure engineering survey. Our plans are designed to provide the architect or client with a reliable, legible and structured mediummaking decision-making easier.
